We, the Sellars family, have owned this land for over 30 years and have enjoyed the forest and river as a salve for our spirit against the stress of a bustling working life. We have found that a walk in the woods is very healthy, and fun! We have enjoyed seasonal activities such as ‘fiddlehead picking’ with friends along the riverbank in the spring, and snowshoeing through the snow laden forest in the winter, birdwatching through the summers and just enjoying the bounty of colors in the mature forest through the fall. Now it is time to share our joy of nature in New Brunswick, come and join us at Riverbend Family Camping.
Our goal is to provide easily accessible wilderness camping
for locals and traveling tourist alike, in a natural setting along
the Petitcodiac River of New Brunswick. This site allows the
camper a park created in a mature forest settling with kilometers
of private walking paths for hiking and nature
watching.
Our misson is to provide wilderness secure camping for nature lovers with sites that offer both seclusion and privacy, with offerings of services and facilities only available at the best National Parks. Seclusion and an intimately close look at nature, with many species of birds, reptiles and mammals in a riverside environment graced with huge mature trees, all in a historically significant setting.
Riverbend Wliderness Camping has a
stretch of 1500 ft along the Petitcodiac River of southern New
Brunswick. There are wadding and swimming areas along the
bend in the River. We currently have sites for tenting and
campers with RV units, big and small.
We have clean washrooms and toilets
with privacy showers. Also available is a wheel chair accessible
private washroom and a separate shower room.
We have a convenience store, complete
with laundromat facilities, fresh ice, and other basic food items
and camping supplies.
We offer a number of tenting sites in premium locations along the river, and each site has a picnic table and a fire pit, for private camper enjoyment.
